Terms of Service

1. The service

MT2CAMT converts bank statement files between formats (MT940, CAMT.053, CSV, Excel) and provides export layouts for accounting software. You can use the free tier without an account; paid plans add higher limits and additional features.

2. Your responsibilities

You must have the right to process any statement file you upload. You agree not to use the service unlawfully, to attempt to disrupt or overload it, or to resell it without a written agreement. You are responsible for the accuracy of the files you import into your own systems.

3. Accuracy and no professional advice

We run integrity checks (including a balance reconciliation) and show warnings, but you remain responsible for verifying converted data before relying on it. MT2CAMT does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice. Conversion output is provided “as is” without warranties beyond those required by law.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment, invoicing and applicable taxes. Subscription prices, included usage and overage are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from your dashboard (billing portal).

5. Service availability

We aim to keep MT2CAMT available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Statement files are processed in ephemeral storage and deleted within a short window as described in our privacy notice.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or data.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, reflecting where the service is hosted.
